Peni Ediker on her small-holding, “Swn y Coed” (The wood’s sounds) near Llanboidy, South Wales. “Swn y Coed” is a One Planet Development project which Peni and her partner, Stef started a few years before the Brexit vote. She originally produced “veg boxes” (a mix of seasonable vegetables) for the local area. However, in 2026 she told me selling her organic vegetable products was becoming increasingly difficult as prices are beyond most local customers means, so she had begun growing flowers for weddings and other events.
